| Road Construction Department |
- Preparing an action plan for construction and up gradation of road and Bridges so that one may reach state capital within maximum time span of 5 hours. Necessary infrastructure will be created keeping in view the traffic density.
- For ease of traffic roads will be converted into roads having more lane as compared to the present one. New Bridges and Flyovers will also be constructed.
- Maintenance policies for road and bridges shall be prepared and consequently implemented all over the state.

- All sanctioned projects of power generation shall be completed as fast as possible to ensure enough availability of power. (All power plants have been transferred to NTPC vide notification no 08 dated 07.08.2018)
- Maintenance policy for assets created in power sector shall be prepared for proper upkeep of the assets.
- Power from non-conventional source of energy shall be made available in the area where power can not be supplied from grid.
- Power generation from Non conventional source of energy shall be promoted and a new policy shall be prepared therefor.
- Efforts shall be made to reduce the transmission and distribution losses gradually and bring it to the level of national average.

- State of art driving training cum research institute shall be established.
- Public private participation shall be promoted for strengthening the public transport system.
- A policy on road safety and action plan there-of shall be formulated. A safety fund shall also created.

Government buildings shall be earth quake resistant and to this end building shall be retrofitted. |
